The Commission's Final Report was tabled in the Queensland Parliament by the Treasurer and Minister for Trade, the Honourable Tim Nicholls, MP on 30 April 2013.

|28 February 2013||In accordance with its Terms of Reference, the Queensland Commission of Audit's final report was provided to the Government on Thursday, 28 February 2013.
The Executive Summary of the Final Report was released publicly on Friday, 1 March 2013.

About the Commission of Audit
The Commission was established in 2012 to review the Queensland Government's financial position, and to make recommendations on:
- strengthening the Queensland economy
- improving the State's financial position including regaining a AAA credit rating
- ensuring value for money in the delivery of frontline services.
Premier Campbell Newman MP and Treasurer and Minister for Trade Tim Nicholls MP appointed three independent Commissioners to the Commission of Audit: the Honourable Peter Costello AC (Chairman), Dr Doug McTaggart and Professor Sandra Harding.
Mr Mark Gray was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Commission. Mr Gray was supported by a secretariat consisting of a small group of primarily public service officials.
